We created a OSD Task sequence deployment in our acceptance environment. 2. When you start your OSD deployment , you will see the few task sequences sitting there and waiting . There's not much else to do here apart from try to locate the correct driver. http://dukesoftwaresolutions.com/an-error/an-error-occurred-while-trying-to-save-import-export-specification.html
If a computer doesn't join the domain during the task sequence it usually means that it has no network connection. You have two images - boot image and OS image. In order to get the model from WMI from an existing machine, you can use: Wmic csproduct get name SCCM Client Version If you are using SCCM 2007 SP1, there Thanks. https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/55219cb6-20c3-46a8-9356-cd84678441b9/import-ts-failure-an-error-occurred-when-storing-the-task-sequence?forum=configmgrgeneral
I have configured a Network Access account but why do I get this "Access Denied" issue? However we could never pinpoint the exact size of the task sequence when it would fail as this was between 135 and 145 Mb. I am a noob to sccm and this has made getting started so much easier, so thank you. On some computers, you may PXE boot, proceed to see a screen which indicates that the PC is talking with SCCM, followed by a line which indicates a boot ROM called
Do I have to do both? Glad to help Surya.DeleteReplyLiam Hammersley17 June 2015 at 15:25Hi Gerry,Thanks for these blog articles they have been very helpful, however I am running into an issue with my OSD TS. DeleteWilliam Steffen10 March 2014 at 15:42That's what I figured, so basically I can not reinstall the same task sequence remotely if it already is listed as installed. And if it’s to a component as critical as WMI is to ConfigMgr than you’d better do your homework before implementing it in production.
When I export task sequences in SCCM2012 it creates a ZIP file to be imported, not an XML. DeleteReplyWilliam Steffen10 March 2014 at 19:33I found a way around it in case anyone else needs it.If you assign the TS to a collection, make it required but set the date This should be an easy fix… well not in this case.TroubleshootingWhen reading SMSTS.log we can find the problematic package ID. http://consulting.risualblogs.com/blog/2013/07/22/an-error-occurred-when-storing-the-task-sequence/ Without these blogs SCCM would be a mountain and a half to climb.
Crazy , I know and the fact is that they know that as well , however they can’t change this purchase behavior. I am having issue converting for sccm 20120 r2. You must therefore change the following ipadress and sharename with the one from your environment! This can be confirmed by viewing the smspxe.log.
