It seemed to run through about 10 steps that looked like a small programming process and then just sat there. Thanks again! I am not getting any Internal System error notices now, but yum, yumex, and all else related to updating or upgrading still does not work. Note that registered members see fewer ads, and ContentLink is completely disabled once you log in.

The only problem with that is that it was that the packagekit problem post was in August and I updated only a few days ago. I even rebooted but there was no changes.
