Please re-enable javascript to access full functionality. Just a default PHP install does it for me. What I did: 1. The PHP docs suggest copying ntwdblib.dll to %SYSTEMROOT%\System32 which doesn't work and they also suggest that this will only support named pipes which is also wrong. his comment is here

It might be better to go with sqlsrv which is maintained by Microsoft. I decided it was a permissions problem, since services don't get full permissions by default. All that needs done is to ensure that ntwdblib.dll version 2000.80.2039.0 is dropped into the c:\php folder (or wherever you've installed/uncompressed PHP to) and then reset IIS. which included clearing its registries.. Hopefully there will be a curl extenstion that works for windows 7 fairly soon.

I've been trying to install Drupal to play around with it and updated XAMPP and couldn't figure out what was going on.
