I haven't tried using a different make of media as yet because these discs (Maxell) have always been fine up until I updated to 'Tiger' and they are still burning fine I don't seem to get through this Issue. I was told to buy an external DVD working on the USB and I could write much faster and reliably. Any solutions?
My DVD are kept in dark and a drawer away from heat. check my blog Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. I was trying to burn a DVD in my MBP with 4 finder windows opened as well as my iTunes working. I close all other applications when burning, but this doesn't seem to help or predict any success.

The weird thing is have no problems using the same media (Maxell) when burning through iTunes at all. Just a little more info from Apple Discussions. Tried using Onyk to remove cashes - that screwed me up a bit getting DSL back up. Do you think if I bought a replacement drive the problem would, at least, be gone for a while ?
